In this newsletter we present the new PC series from Vecow RCX-3000 PEG.
The RCX PEG family is updated with the new Raptor Lake architecture; these PCs are declinable
for two macro-types of applications:

  • 1 – Applications with high graphics performance
  • 2 – Artificial Intelligence applications that involve the use of CUDA libraries

In fact, it is possible to install 2 video cards within this family of PCs with a power budget of 1800W dedicated to them.

Raptor Lake brings with it interesting technological innovations that improve performance of the previous generation of RCX, based on the 8-9th Intel® Core Coffee Lake, in particular the introduction:

1) new hybrid CPUs, composed of two types of cores, the E and the P.

In practice, Intel has created two types of cores that “divide” the computational loads.

Processing requiring “low” performance is addressed on the E (efficiency) CORE, while the most demanding ones in terms of computational power are addressed on the P (performance) core. Recall that the E cores, unlike the P cores, are not equipped with hyperthreading and also have a lower clock.

2) DDR5, which brings a notable advantage in terms of speed and performance,

3) the Power budget dedicated to video cards is now 1800W, on the previous generation (GPC-1000) it was 1500W. This increase allows you to use the highest performing GPUs available today.
