ARCHMI-900B: what’s new
As it was for the ARCHMI-800 series, which was upgraded from Bay Trail to Apollo Lake platform, also ARCHMI-900, the panel PCs series meant to advanced HMI applications, got updated from Skylake-U (6th Gen) to Whiskey Lake (8th Gen) platform.
Two are the available processors:
- Core i5-8365UE (4C8T)
- Core i3-8145UE (2C4T)
Both processors embeds UHD Graphics 620, which increases the performance of a 10% with respect to the previously adopted HD 520, broading the range of possible applications.
The possibilities for expansion improve thanks to the new platform, now the panel PCs feature:
- 4 X USB 3.0 Type A
- 1 x COM RS-232 (RS-232/422/485 available as option)
- 1 x M.2 Key M for storage, instead of the 2.5″ SATA disk bay
- 1 x MPCIe for half-size or full-size expansion modules
- 1 x M.2 Key E for expansion modules, i.e. WiFi
Unchanged the winning features of the ARCHMI-900 series concerning the external design of the product, such as:
- Aluminium die-cast chassis with true flat IP66 front panel, fanless design
- VESA or panel mount option
- Display from 12.1″ to 32″, high brightness option available for each size except to 32″
- PCAP or resistive touch screen, 32″ is available with PCAP touch only
