{"id":17600,"date":"2019-09-26T14:06:34","date_gmt":"2019-09-26T12:06:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tpole.it\/news-by-t-pole\/mini-pc-whiskey-lake-test-termici-in-tpole\/"},"modified":"2020-05-14T10:39:09","modified_gmt":"2020-05-14T08:39:09","slug":"mini-pc-whiskey-lake-thermal-tests-in-tpole","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tpole.it\/en\/news-by-t-pole\/mini-pc-whiskey-lake-thermal-tests-in-tpole\/","title":{"rendered":"Mini PC Whiskey Lake&#x2122; &#8211; Thermal tests in TPole"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>TPole<\/strong> introduces the <strong>SPC 5200<\/strong> based on the new <strong>Intel\u00ae Whiskey Lake &#x2122;<\/strong> processor family.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tpole.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/SPC-5200.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Performance<\/strong>, space, and low power consumption characterize the SPC 5200 as an excellent edge computing solution for video surveillance and vision applications, thanks also to the 4 GigE ports, of which 2 are PoE, and to 8 digital inputs and 8 digital isolated outputs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The development tools made available by Intel\u00ae, such as <strong>OpenVino<\/strong> &#x2122;, and fully supported by the new Whiskey Lake &#x2122; processors, simplify the <strong>optimization<\/strong> and <strong>deployment of convolutional neural networks<\/strong> and allow for a more flexible approach, compared to a traditional approach algorithmic, problems such as <strong>face recognition, identification and tracking of people and objects, quality inspection<\/strong>, making it possible to <strong>quickly develop high-performance, scalable and efficient solutions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Compared to an <strong>ECS 9000 4G<\/strong> equipped with an <strong>Intel\u00ae Core &#x2122; i7 6700TE<\/strong> processor, a solution that offers similar I \/ O options, the <strong>SPC 5200<\/strong> is characterized by a <strong>comparable computing power compared to a considerably reduced mechanical size and consumption .<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tpole.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Dati-di-benchmark.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> <br>Burn-in-room and climatic chamber tests: why is it so important to carry them out?
